One of the great joys of life in Sun City Center is the freedom to hop on your golf cart and go. With over 150 miles of dedicated paths, the community is perfectly designed for cart exploration.
Route 1 — The Morning Loop: Start at Freedom Plaza, head east on Pebble Beach, loop through Kings Point, and return via Cypress Village. About 45 minutes, perfect for a morning coffee run.
Route 2 — The Shopping Run: Head to the Sun City Center Plaza on SR 674 for groceries, pharmacy, and dining. The cart path along the south side of 674 is well-maintained and shaded.
Route 3 — The Nature Trail: Wind through the quieter streets near the golf courses on the east side. Early morning you'll spot herons, sandhill cranes, and the occasional gopher tortoise.
Always carry water, especially in summer. Wear sunscreen, use your turn signals, and yield to pedestrians. And remember — golf carts are not permitted on SR 674 itself, only on designated cart paths.
